HM Vastgoed, a collaboration between Mobion Group and Novabest, has purchased a retail property in the center of Tilburg. The property is located in a prime retail position at Heuvelstraat 42 and, due to its excellent front width, occupies a prominent spot on the shopping street.

The shop is fully leased to SNIPES, a retail chain specializing in sneakers and streetwear with more than 680 locations in Europe and America. The seller is the Metal and Technology Pension Fund, managed by real estate asset manager NLV.
With this purchase, HM Vastgoed strengthens its stake in downtown Tilburg and sees potential in this strong, multi-functional location. Following earlier successful redevelopments, Mobion Group and Novabest once again see opportunities to create an investment product through function mixing at this location, which will be less sensitive to economic fluctuations and thus capable of generating a stable return. A study on future plans, which includes the development of sustainable apartments and/or studio apartments, has already begun.
In this transaction, the buyer was commercially advised by retail investment broker Retail Capital, legally assisted by TaylorWessing, guided on lease law by NeXT Advocaten, and technically supported by MIBA Bouwmanagement. NLV was commercially assisted by Brickstone and legally advised by BarentsKrans.
