Oisterwijk, June 2025 – We are proud to announce the arrival of Roku Asian Cuisine & Lounge, a brand-new restaurant set to open its doors in the former "mooR" restaurant, located at De Lind in the heart of Oisterwijk. This addition to the region’s culinary scene promises a refined gastronomic experience where Asian flavors meet modern elegance.

Roku means "six", a number that symbolizes harmony, balance, and good fortune in many Asian cultures. This philosophy lies at the core of Roku’s mission: to create a harmonious blend of flavor, ambiance, and hospitality. Guests can visit Roku for lunch, dinner and drinks.

The concept behind Roku Asian Cuisine & Lounge is inspired by refined Japanese cuisine with a modern twist, complemented by elements from the broader Asian fusion kitchen. Guests can expect sophisticated dishes made with fresh, high-quality ingredients, unique flavor combinations, and an outstanding wine selection. The interior design reflects the same philosophy: sleek, stylish, and warm, with subtle nods to the richness of Asian culture.

The decision to establish Roku in Oisterwijk -often referred to as the “pearl in the green”- was a deliberate one. With its vibrant village center, renowned culinary reputation, and welcoming community, Oisterwijk offers the ideal environment for a restaurant of this caliber. Its central location, surrounded by forests and lakes, also makes it an appealing destination for both local gourmets and visiting food enthusiasts.

The transaction leading to Roku’s establishment in Oisterwijk was facilitated by Klaassen Horecamakelaars, specialists in hospitality real estate.

Roku is scheduled to officially open in mid-September 2025. Leading up to the grand opening, further information will be shared regarding the opening week, reservations, and special events.

With the arrival of Roku, a new chapter begins in Oisterwijk’s culinary history. On behalf of the owners of Stichting De Swaen Beheer and Mobion Group, we wish Ferrie Leung, Vienna Leung, and Marvin Man every success and enjoyment in this exciting new venture.
