Mobion Group and Novabest have purchased the former bank building in the Woensel shopping center in Eindhoven from Coöperatieve Rabobank.
The property is located on the west side of the district shopping center, locally known as WoensXL. This shopping center is on the eve of a large-scale redevelopment, where retail space will be withdrawn and approximately 2,000 homes and the necessary facilities will be realized.

From this future perspective, Mobion Group and Novabest are very pleased with the acquisition of the former bank office, in its current form totaling 550 m². The property is strategically located at the western entrance of the shopping area. We have been convinced of the future prospects of WoensXL and have always recognized the potential of this property.
After acquisition the property was immediately leased for a long period of time to the food service formulas Collins Foods Netherlands, Wok to Go and De Beren. The first floor will be leased to a service provider or office user. Collins Foods Netherlands has opened the 45th Kentucky Fried Chicken restaurant at this location by the end of 2021. The opening of Wok to Go and De Beren is expected in early October 2022.
Mobion Group and Novabest were advised in this transaction by its regular partners TaylorWessing (legal), architectural and (design) technical by MVGM and Studio 412. Seller Rabobank was advised by WvdB.
